Actually, while booking a flight ticket, you have to pay the basic fare. Apart from this, you also have to pay service charge which is decided according to the ticket price. So there you have to deposit security fees. If you are traveling by economy then you have to pay 5% GST. Whereas premium economy and business class passengers have to pay 12% GST.

There are certain components that go into determining the flight charges, i.e. those expenses which you may not normally be aware of. These include UDF i.e. User Development Fee. Which is connected to airports. So along with that there is airline fuse charge, apart from this CUTE fee i.e. Common User Terminal Equipment fee which is also called Passenger Handling Fee is also to be paid.
